RETURN POLICY

Please note that all of our products are made-to-order, not ready-to-wear. Please consider before ordering to avoid the waste of returned items.

 
We will accept return items if they meet the following guidelines:

  • Contact me within 3 days and return items within 21 days
  • Item must be unworn, unwashed, unused with all original labels attached
  • Buyer is responsible for any charge to return and 30-50% restocking fee on the original price.
  • Returns must be sent back to our address in Hanoi, Vietnam with proof of shipping (tracking code), and with all items included in the original packages. Please make sure the returned item is declared with a value of 10 USD. We do not want to be charged tax on returned goods.
  • The Linen Atelier is not liable for any return packages that may become lost or stolen in-transit. Please keep your proof of postage and/or return tracking number when shipping back your returns.
  • Returns are processed within 5-7 business days after your item(s) are delivered to our Distribution Center.

To return by mail - Use your order packing slip to return by mail with the carrier of your choice. All returns must include an order packing slip that clearly indicates which items are being returned. If this is not filled out correctly, your return may experience issues in processing.

Please make sure the returned item is declared with a value of 10 USD. We do not want to be charged tax on returned goods.

Depending on the shipping method and carrier selected, your return package may take several weeks to reach us if returning from an international location. 

The Linen Atelier is not responsible for returns until they reach our Distribution Center in Ha Noi, Viet Nam. Keep your proof of postage and ship your return along with a tracking number as we are not liable for return packages that are lost or stolen in-transit. Without proof of receipt and delivery, The Linen Atelier will not issue store credit for your returns.

 

How long does the returns process take?

Returns are processed within 5-7 business days after your item(s) are delivered to our Distribution Center. Depending on the shipping method and carrier that was selected to return, your return package may take several days to reach us. Please hold on to your return tracking number for your records.

During holidays and times of high volume, returns are subject to delays. If you are still waiting to receive store credit for your return, please contact our Customer Care team via the Contact Page or email to thelinenatelier.co@gmail.com with your Order Number and the name of the item(s) returned along with one of the following:

  • Proof of postage/return postage receipt
  • A return tracking number

Note: Refunds can take up to 2-5 business days to clear and 7-10 business days for the amount to post to your account, depending on your financial institution. If you used an E-Gift Card to purchase, please reuse the E-Gift Card on your next purchase.

Returned-to-Sender & Refused Packages

  • This can happen if (1) an address is invalid or missing information, (2) the carrier is unable to deliver your package, (3) buyer refuses to fulfill the requested tax and customs duties, or (4) the order is refused by the customer at the time of delivery.
  • Returned-to-Sender or Refused packages will be restocked and you will bear all costs and losses associated with this return, or costs associated with re-shipping the package.
  • We are unable to make changes to orders once they have been placed in our system. To ensure that your package is properly delivered, make sure that your address is entered correctly and includes all relevant information. The use of correct abbreviations, street numbers, building or apartment numbers, and route information (if applicable) are critical to ensuring delivery.
  • We do not take responsibility for lost, misplaced, or incorrectly delivered shipments if the address information provided is incorrect at the time of purchase.

 
Reserved Rights Regarding Returns

We reserve the right to solely define and limit, refuse, and/or reject returns from customers at any time due to:

  • An irregular or excessive returns history indicative of "wardrobing;"
  • An irregular or excessive returns history involving worn, altered, laundered, damaged, or missing items; or
  • Potential fraudulent or criminal activity.

Similarly, we reserve the right to refuse service (both in-store and online) to any customer or entity, due to similar actions as noted above.
Non- The Linen Atelier items sent to our Distribution Center will be discarded upon receipt.
 
 
Damaged/Defective/Incorrect Items
Should you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, contact our Customer Care team via the Contact Page or email to thelinenatelier.co@gmail.com. Once we receive your request, we will be in contact with you to address and resolve the issue.
